Migiwa Press is the imprint run by Keren Dibbens-Wyatt. Migiwa is Japanese for still waters, or the place where the sand meets the tide at the shore. The books published by Migiwa are created out of Keren’s rich prayer life and intended to engage readers with the Living God. These and upcoming titles are story, theology, meditations, poetry and prayer. The Migiwa logo is a turtle as we feel that sending out books into the world is a lot like hatching baby turtles. They require a lot of incubation and then, once they are hatched, their future is rather erratic, and they might end up anywhere!
As with our art gallery, a percentage of all profits as from 1st August 2017 go into running Lakelight Sanctuary and bringing you more of these beautiful books.
Christian Prayers for the World is a free ebook that has been downloaded thousands of times all over the world. Whale Song: Choosing Life with Jonah is a personal reflection on the reluctant prophet’s journey, bound up with Keren’s own experience of chronic illness and depression. Garden of God’s Heart is a set of 365 meditations inspired by the English country garden, with a Foreword by Jen Rees Larcombe and illustrated throughout with black and white photographs. All are available on Amazon, or on Barnes and Noble’s website.
In time, we hope to expand into publishing other authors of prophetic or beautiful works.
